About this tour

Ride a quad bike across the Black Lava fields on the slopes of Mount Batur in Kintamani, where past eruptions left black rock and sand across the landscape. A guide leads the whole ride, and you set a pace you are comfortable with.

Every ride starts with a safety briefing and a short practice session. Hotel pickup is available from around 5:00 AM, depending on your hotel location.

   Travel from your hotel to the Black Lava starting point in Kintamani.

3. On arrivalSafety briefing

   Get fitted with a helmet and practise on the quad bike before the ride.

   Follow your guide across the lava fields and sand, with stops for photos of Mount Batur.

5. After the rideRest and refreshments
